One Modern Language is compulsory but two are encouraged along with Latin, which is started in Year 8.

For German next year there will be three Year 11 groups and three Year 10 groups - making it one of the most popular option subjects. All students study the Edexcel 9-1 course and are entered for the Higher Tier.
